Our Approach

GSoLEN is a global knowledge-brokering network, focused on the wide-scale and effective implementation of the Science of Learning to improve education for all.

  1. Grounded in the Science of Learning:
The Science of Learning is an important foundation for advancing effective, equitable education in all contexts and regions. SoL breaks through traditional discipline, geographic and demographic barriers, and draws knowledge from many different fields to build our understanding of how people learn and thrive.
  2. Putting Students at the Center:
GSoLEN works to connect the science of learning to education policy and practice in pursuit of equitable education outcomes in contexts across the world. Our investment is driven by a sincere commitment to helping all people thrive and reach their full potential.
  3. Responsive to a Dynamic Environment:
Science is not static, and the science of learning is a constantly evolving body of work and knowledge that continues to refine itself and grow over time. In the same way, GSoLEN strives to actively listen and respond to the needs, achievements, challenges, and opportunities being surfaced by its members.
  4. Inclusive Collaboration:
We seek to enhance the exchange and use of cross-sectoral experience and knowledge to build better learning opportunities for students of every age, ethnicity, race, gender, and ability. We value the diversity of voices and perspectives in our international network as we work towards this goal.
