Dr. Stephanie Wood-Garnett is a seasoned executive and leadership coach and President of the Institute for Student Achievement (ISA). She also leads her consulting firm, providing expertise in executive coaching, strategic leadership development, and grant management.

Previously, she served as Associate Vice President at ETS and as Vice President of Policy to Practice at the Alliance for Excellent Education, where she advanced national initiatives in deeper learning, equity, and college and career readiness. Earlier in her career, she was appointed Assistant Commissioner of Higher Education for the New York State Education Department, leading statewide efforts to strengthen educator preparation and improve outcomes for diverse learners. Dr. Wood-Garnett holds an Ed.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. from The George Washington University, and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
