Daniel Leeds

Co-Founder, Global Science of Learning Education Network

Dan is a co-founder of GSoLEN, founder and chair of the National Public Education Action Fund and co-chairs, with his wife Sunita, the Enfranchisement Foundation, which focuses on breaking the cycles of poverty and intolerance in the United States as well as on women’s issues and sustainable climate practices. He is the founder of the Philanthropic Collaborative for Education, which organizes the Education Funders Strategy Group and Grantmakers for Thriving Youth.  He co-founded All4Ed (formerly the Alliance for Excellent Education). He chaired the Boards of both the Philanthropic Collaborative for Education and All4ed for many years and remains on their Boards.

Until its sale in 1999, Dan was the President of International for CMP Media, a global technology media company whose media footprint covered over 65 countries. CMP was named one of the “Top100 Companies to Work For” by Fortune and Working Women magazines.
